Assets are the different types of content that you display on your players.

There are two main types of asset you can add to Playengo: Offline assets and online assets.

Offline assets

Offline assets are stored on the Playengo platform. They are downloaded onto players, which means they are displayed even when there is a network outage. This also limits usage of your bandwidth.

Playengo handles these offline assets:

• videos, images, audio files and PDF files
• banners that you can create in Playengo

Online assets

Online asses are links to external data sources that, once configured in Playengo, display dynamic content that is updated in real time.

After creating assets, you can organize them in folders. You can also give your assets tags to make searching for them easier. Learn more: Organize your assets.
